Machine Learning and Prediction

Hi

I am looking for machine learning PREDICTION algorithms like KNN, Kalaman, neural networks and SVM etc . . . I can find toolbox on classification but not prediction.

Anyone have any code, literature or advice?!?

Just want to run some basic comparison experiment but can not find any code or literature and don't know where to start really. Any advice would be great.

For SVM, see svmclassify (link). (The function names will change in a future release. The functionality will remain in the updated functions.)

For recurrent neural nets, a similar function is classifyAndUpdateState (link).

Others exist. You need to search the documentation for the ones you want to use. (It would be easier if these functions were more straightforward to find. Perhaps they will be in a future release.)

Search the help for predict(). There are several overloaded predict() functions that work with various functions and models.

For making prediction using machine learning you can either use classification learner or regression learner app in the tool boxes. However, you can find them installed with your MATLAB only if you install the latest version such as R2018a or b and onwards.
