Glancing around, it would not surprise me if it were fairly difficult to install all of the various compatibility packages that would be needed.

MATLAB is certainly not supported with Endless OS. It probably is not even tested much at all.

Matlab is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, 16.04 LTS, and 17.04, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and 7, SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 12, Debian 8.x, 9.x).

If endless OS is compatible with any of these, then yes.

Endless is based on Debian 9. Or to be exact:

 We can say that Endless OS is not based on Debian in the same
 sense that Ubuntu is based on Debian. But Endless OS is built
 from Debian.
