how to convert a 4D double matrix into a png image?

please i need help. i am doing lung nodule detection based on CNN network. i have used the lung nodule position to build some patches of 4D double. i have saved the patches in one variable, now how can i convert those matrices into png images so that i can clearly visualize the patches and analyzes the nodules contained in it.
