I have to simulate a Tape wind along a cylinder. How can i do it?

I have the path traced with the Animateline function. I just want to change the line cross section to be rectangular? Is it possible to change the line cross section? if yes, how? and if No, what is the other option to do it? Thanks in advance? Cheers?
