insert an object into an existing software

Hello I need to insert an object/class in a simulator based OOP-matlab (LTE VIENNA SIM) so I wander how could I discover the architecture of this software or how to insert my object how every file is mapped to others thanks you Is there a specific command or something?

I know I read the documentation, However I need to know a practical way to insert a new scheduler , what do i need to do? Generally, I need to know how to insert/add a class, or whatever I want to , into an simulator that I didn’t developed What I have to do for this purpose, how to discover the path to follow , the variables, the arborescence….
