[EDIT: Used the code markup to format the code. -- the cyclist]
clear screen
clear all;close all;clc;
R= 50;
T =[0 50 100 150 200 250 300 350 400 450];
l= length(T);
for i=1:l
n=(-0.0023* mpower(log(e+1),2.7)* mpower(T,0.5)* mpower(R,0.6));
SS=0.85*(1-exp(n));

I'm not sure what the question is? If "e" is intended to be the base of the common logarithm then e = exp(1). mpower() is a built-in MATLAB routine that would more commonly be written using the .^ operator, such as T.^0.5

"clear screen; clear all; close all; clc;"? Do you have any reason to use this brute clearing?
