MATLAB Answers is an open user community, a place where users can help each other, and where you can get professional references beyond "how to use MATLAB" from many researchers and engineers who are MATLAB users around the world. Please note that MathWorks employees (accounts marked with the STAFF symbol) are also one of the users who will be answering questions, but as a rule we cannot answer questions via individual messages to STAFF.

If you have a fatal problem such as not being able to use MATLAB, if you are in a hurry, or if you want a definite answer, we recommend you to use the MathWorks Support Desk. For technical support, you will need a valid license number and a subscription to the Software Maintenance Service.
