How to select cells in a table with values in a given range?

E.g. I want to select every cell from a column whose content is a number in the range 1:2:17.

Are you looking to do this selection in matlab, or in excel directly?

Shounak Shastri - yes I want to select the cells that contain a value in the range 1 to 17 in steps of 2.
Bob Noob - I want to do this in matlab on a matlab table.

Hard to say what you are really asking, but in MATLAB ...
t = readtable(example.xls')
t2 = t(ismember(t.condition,1:2:17),:)
