creating a sequence of strings

Hi all,

I would like to creare a particular sequence of string variables. specificallly i have the string varibles: l1, l2, l3l, l4, l5. and i want to create a sequence of combinations of these variables 2 at a time. so i should have l12, l13,l14, l15, l23,l24,l25,l34,l35,l45
