Removal of defocus (Out-of-focus) images problem in 3D image dataset

Hello Everyone,
I have some Z-Stack 3D image dataset. Image dataset format is in X-dir Pixels * Y-dir Pixels * Image slice number.
Some of these upper and lower images have defocus (Out of Focus) problem, which makes them Blur. Hence, information loss takes place. Any algorithm or any trick to deal with these images?
