How can i digitally add external noise(street noise) to my input speech signal?

I am working on a speaker recognition system. I am working on clean speech and then added AWGN noise at different SNR levels using the command:

snr=25;
x = awgn(s,snr,'measured');

But i want to add street noise to my samples that i recorded myself.
