Hello, currently i'm using a code to compress a MRI medical image but it's failed to compress that image. Could anyone help me solve this problem. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The code is designed for single grayscale images. The MRI image you are using might be color or might be a series of slices all stored in the same file.
