phase portrait of MackeyGlass

Hi all,

Im trying to sketch the phase portrait of Mackey-Glass equaiton. Im solving the equation iteratively but, not able to sketch phase portait. Any one can show me a way to do that? The code that equation is solved shown belew;

for i=1:1000
     if i<=tao
         x(i) = rand;
     else
         x(i) = x(i-1) + beta*x(i-tao)/(1+x(i-tao)^n) - ro*x(i-1);
     end
 end
