Hi,
I've tried to download Matlab 2017b but for some reason has been downloaded as dvd (please see the figure). Inside this dvd drive there are two files. I don't know how to install Matlab from this point. Could you please help?

To download the ISO of R2017b, proceed to https://www.mathworks.com/downloads/ . In the upper left, use Select release to select R2017b.
Note: if you can only select the curent release (currently R2025b), then that indicates that your Mathworks Central account is not associated with any license at present. If you cannot select any versions at all, then that indicates that your Mathworks Central account is associated with an institution that has resetricted downloads; in that case you need to go through your IT people. If you can only select versions older than R2017b then that indicates that your Mathworks Central account is associated with a license that went off Software Maintance Service before R2017b.)
Assuming you were able to select R2017b, in the center top, in the "I Want To" box, select "Get ISOs and DMGs". After that, download both of the .iso files (the first of them is packed with products; the second of them has a few more products, and all of the documentation and examples.)

you somehow asked to download as ISO. However current releases need two ISO files and you are looking at the second of them . Most of what is needed is on the other ISO .
