use 'matlabpool open' but not use parallel structure.

I use matlabpool('open','profile1',16) before evaluate my code, and there is no 'pafor','spmd' or any other parallel code. it means I do not use parallel computing.

BUT when I evaluate my code ，I detect data transmission between all the labs(or workers). Is there anyone know WHY. THANK YOU for taking your time.

There are some functions/toolboxes which has builtin support for parallel processing without any coding. So i guess you might be calling some of those functions.
