How to get a big string into the other line for visibility

I have a big string which i would like to store it in a command but due to visibility issue i want to use ... command to come to next line.Could you please tell me how to do itt
For Example
My string is AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I want to code something like
a='AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...
AAAAAAAA'
But this gives an error message
Please note i dont want to use
a= ['AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA'...
'AAAAAAAAAAAA']; this command it gives the correct ans but it hamper with \n command if am using with fprintf
