How to detect the characters in the extracted license plate?

I am doing a project on license plate detection and extraction of characters from it.I have detected and extracted the plate.Now I need to detect the actual characters in license plate.It should recognize different fonts of letters also.I have attached the detected plate.How can I do so?Can anyone help me?

I get error when I use that function as "Index exceeds array bounds".What should I do to correct my mistake?

Check the size of results.Words. It mightb e having a single cell.
