real time transfer function response

Hi matlab community,

I want to get the real time simulation of a transfer function

s=tf('s');
H = 1/(s^2 + 2*s + 10);
ftbf = feedback(H,1);
step(ftbf);

Instead of using the step function , I have a real time variable input that I want to impliment to see the system respond.

In what format do you have your real time variable input? Can you elaborate a bit?

I have data received from TCP/IP socket

socket=tcpip(adresseIP,port,'NetworkRole','server');

I store the data received in a variable using fread or scan and I convert it to double

The data comes from a f/t sensor. and it is dynamically changing.
