- click on the save icon on the tool ribbon, or
- type control-s, or
- just click on another tab (another m-file you're editing) and it will probably save it automatically.

Hi guys,
When I'm editing any matlab script (.m file) and then performing save to that file, it is saving in this format:

commands:
>> edit anyFile.m
After editing any line:
>> save anyFile.m
any workarounds? (I'm new to this).

Don't do the save because that saves the m file as a binary .mat format file.
To save the file, just
