problem with matlab 2009 64 bit

Dear all.

I use matlab 2009 32bit and matlab 2009 64bit

There is a problem with matlab 2009 64bit.

Whenever I run a code within matlab 2009 64bit sometimes I get the following message

 Error using ==> xlswrite at 213
The file
D:\Matlab\xa1.xlsx
is not writable.  It may be locked by another
process.So, I have to rerun the code. With the second or the third time I no longer have this problem.

With matlab 2009 32bit everything runs normal

Why is this?

It is not MATLAB's problem.

You simply have concurrent access with modification actions which are not supported in general by excel.

I can't tell you more since I don't know the code you're using, but omne approach is to rethink (and rewrite the code) the approach to your problem.

I fixed it actually by using a different directory path
