Hilbert transform, signal processing

Hello,

I have a couple of waveform data under SAC (seismic analysis code) format which is basically a time series file, but when I try to convert it to a mat file in order to apply the Hilbert transform to my signal it doesn't work and I always get different errors like (index exceeds matrix dimensions).

Also the Hilbert transform requires a real part which is my signal in time domain, but I don't know how to include the signal into MatLab and under wich format so it can be read and transformed.

I would appreciate your help, I am stuck with this since weeks and enrolled to different Matlab courses but I can't relate their content to solve my case in reality.
