Why does it show that the Deep learning toolbox has been installed but it does not show in MATLAB app

In the resources of all the add-ons, it shows that the deep learning toolbox has been installed. But in the matlab program, I am not able to find deep network designer and the command "deepNetworkDesigner" does not pull up anything and does not work at all.

According to the Release Notes the Deep Network Designer app was introduced in release R2018b, so I assume you're using an older release of Deep Learning Toolbox.

I am having a similar problem.  I installed the Deep Learning Toolbox from Add-ons but when I try to load alexnet it says I need to install the toolbox.
So it is not recognizing the toolbox.
What can I do to fix this?  I have R2019b prerelease
I tried closing and reopening with no luck.

I am also having this problem. I have upgraded R2020a (with the same problem); downloaded and installed R2020b with the deeplearning toolbox. Still does not work. Tried uninstalling the toolbox, then reinstalling it.

Still no change - very frustrating.
