I have a problem with connecting Simscape Model PMC Port to Simulink Model PMC Port, (Connecting Simscape Battery Model terminals to PV Model terminals). Is there anybody who can help?

I have been modeling these models for long time but now I cannot connect both models together. Connect them through voltage or current sensor will not work as I want to have interconnect of the PV Model and Battery Model in the system and see how they behave in specific situations, and having sensors will just transfer a signal not connect the terminals.
Thanks in advance,

Hello Abdelnasser,
there are few issues that must be taken into account to connect wires. 1st, they need to be the same type of wire. There are actually 3 types of wires. Simulink, Simscape, and Specialized Power Systems.
Simulink wires are black and unidirectional (have arrows) and act as inputs and outputs. Specialized Power System wires are also black, but have no arrows, and are connected as a normal circuit wire. Simscape wires are colored based on the domain they are in (electrical, thermal, mechanical, etc.)
If you need to connect different wires, you have to use the appropriate converter block. Use sensors and measurement blocks to get to simulink. Use controlled sources to go from simulink to the other domains, and use interface blocks to connect simscape electrical to specialized power systems.
Regards,
Joel
