Are SimScape models idealistic or realistic?

Hello,

Do valves components in Simscape Fluids exhibit non-linearity just like real valves?

I want to model a realistic system and therefore want to view effects of and then handle the non-linearities of a valve (stiction, backlash etc.)

Realistic models can be created using Symscape by setting appropriate Block parameters, initial conditions and understanding the modeling assumptions.
