how to send data from servo motor to matlab without Arduino

I want to record data on matlab online

Now I'm trying to send data from servomotor to matlab with servoamp.

My servomotor has original software. I can record data with this softwear using RS-232C(serial port)

However, I don't know how to record it with matlab.

Now I think it is possible to record it using Instrument control toolbox or Data acquisition toolbox.

Could you tell me how to record.
