Could anyone help me to solve the issue.

position =[1     2;
     1     3;
     2     4;
     3     4]
NN= num2cell(position,2)

when i run the code i am getting the result as

NN = 

    [1x2 double]
    [1x2 double]
    [1x2 double]
    [1x2 double]

but i want to have NN in the following manner

NN=
    {1x2 cell}
    {1x2 cell}
    {1x2 cell}
    {1x2 cell}
 

Could anyone please help me on this.
