Can I get full matlab on an android tablet if I can install linux on it?

I want to get a small tablet like a Samsung galaxy tab s5e, and I'm wondering if it's possible to have full matlab installed. I have heard that there is such a thing as Linux on Dex. Would that allow me to run a full version of matlab? Has anyone tried this? I just would rather not use the mobile app. Thanks!

You can see the system requirements for matlab here (may require you to be logged in).
For 2019b, the list of supported linux versions are:
  • Ubuntu 19.04
  • Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
  • Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
  • Debian 10
  • Debian 9
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (minimum 7.3)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (minimum 6.7)
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 12 (minimum SP2)
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 15
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 (minimum SP2)
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15
Anything not on that list is not officially supported. it may work or not but it'll be left to you to work it out.
More important, is the list of supported processors: Any Intel or AMD x86-64 processor. Your tablet will be using an ARM processor which is not supported at all. There is no version of matlab that works on ARM processors, so you're out of luck.

Very precise and helpful answer. I suppose it's less about the OS and more about the processor. I've learned something today. Thank you!
