How to identify traces in a plot

I have a plot with many traces that look similar (so many that the colors don't really help), so it is hard to tell which one is which. Is there any way to select a trace on a plot and somehow display which legend entry is it associated with?

You could use the 'Tag' line property to add an identifier to each when created or use the legend 'DisplayName' which is also settable as the a line property.

Or, just save and use the line handle created when plot
