How to read xls file without changing variable names.

If I use the command,
nameDb = readtable(xl_file, 'sheet','Data');
there is a warning.
Warning: Variable names were modified to make them valid MATLAB identifiers. The original names are saved in the
VariableDescriptions property.
I do not want to change my variables name.
How should I read my xls file?

Upgrade to a newer matlab release; that was an enhancement after your version.
