How to rebase a branch

Using git, I want to rebase my feature branch on master branch. How can I do this? I could only find documentation about merging branches, not about rebasing branches.

That link explains rebasing of text files using command-line git. I'm actually looking for the functionality to rebase a branch containing Simulink models. I would like to start the rebase in Matlab and see possible conflicts in the Simulink models so I can resolve them.

As far as I know, the latest R2019b does not support rebasing using the Simulink UI.

MATLAB / Simulink UI does not support all Git operations.

That's a pity. We would like to apply a git workflow with pull-requests (a common workflow in software development), and rebasing is very handy in such a flow. Is there a way to request such a feature in a future release? Or is there a way to use text-based Simulink files (instead of the binary .xlsx files)? I remember that some years ago the Simulink models were stored as (non-binary) .mdl files.
