how to enhance edges in images like this one?

hi I have a MRI image 2D, eye+tumor).. I ve already removed the noise by applying an anisotropic filter which works very well... now the problem is that I have this blurr at the edges and I want to eliminate it..I ve tried different filter but anyone works properly.. has someone any idea?? ( also near the boundaries I have some white( how to remove it?
