Visualization problem with SimMechanics explorer

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with Simscape multibody SimMechanics explorer window.

When I start my simulation there is no visual representation of my CAD model. The screen is just blank,gray space. I already tried with option to right click on parts and then show specific components but it won't work.

When I do my own SimScape model without CAD then it works. In error window it says that it can't find step file but step file is right there under exactly the same name.

Please help me I need this for my diploma paper project.

Hi Damian,

Normally in this situation, MATLAB cannot find the file or the file is invalid. The message in the Diagnostic viewer will help you figure out what the issue is.

You can check to see if it is on the path by typing >> which (<filename>)
