How to convert GPS data (lon,lat) data into position in x and y plane

Hej every one;
I have a set of GPS data includinf lon and lat. i want to convert into position in x and y plane ?
You guys do you know how to perform it ?

grn2eqa function converts GPS data of latitudes and longitudes to coordinates in x-y plane .
