Why Matlab interaction is very slow via TeamViewer?

Hi
I am remotely accessing my computer via Teamviewer, I have noticed that Matlab in my remote computer is interacting very slowly, it is not the processing speed but the interacting speed. If I open a matlab script, I have to wait for 30 seconds just to open the script. I believe the problem is related to the screen resolution, but not sure.
Why Matlab interaction is very slow via TeamViewer?
