Capturing a spinmap display as frames for a movie or video

The function below makes a nice display of colors when the selected color map is rotated. Is there a way to capture the display as a set of individual images that can be % made into frames of a movie or video?
function spinpic( file )
x = imread( file ) ;
y = rgb2gray( x ) ;
colormap jet
imshow( y ) ;
spinmap( 10 , 1 ) ; % <- can I capture this as movie frames?
end
