Need help on sign language detection project

i'm having a project about sign language detection, but after research, i've got ton of confused. I don't know how and where to start my project. I did a short function to recognize skin from an image, at this time, i'm stucking with my project. Can anybody help me please? Sorry if i got some mistakes in grammar, my English isn't so well

All we can do is to help you with MATLAB code so once you've selected your algorithm here at VisionBib's sign language section, then make an attempt at coding it up and come back here with any questions. We don't have the time to spend hours coaching you for your project, but your professor should.
