how to find max of a column and run it in a loop

device=[1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10]

block=[1 10;2 11;3 7;4 13;5 14]

new=block(block(:,1) == max(block(:,1)),:)

how to run this max value finding in a loop and display with adding elemnt from device array? like after first find output will be 1 5 14 and last output will be 5 3 7.

from this line i will get the max column2 with corresponding c1 [display will be 5 14] .i want to add one column with this two column from that device array like [1 5 14] and it will go on a loop and find 2nd max value and display [2 4 13] and so on and the last display will be [5 3 7].

in fact i want to display column2 in descending order with corresponding column1 value. and final output will be by adding one more column which is this-----> device=[1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10]
