problem with removing noise in colormap

I'm not sure why you say "in colormap" ? Is it an indexed image? Is it a 2D data array being displayed with a colormap ?

You need to remove noise from the original gray scale image, not the pseudocolored image. And I'm not even sure you need to do that. What do you want to do with this image? It may be possible to do it without doing any noise reduction at all. If you still think you need to, please upload your original gray scale image (if you can legally do so since it looks like it might be a medical image). There are a variety of noise reduction methods. Literally hundreds of them. They range from the simple (box averaging, median) to a little smarter and more sophisticated (knn, sigma, bilateral) to more complicated (BM3D, K-SVD, K-LLD, uinta etc.)
