Loading timeseries data into the deep network designer

I have read and learnt how to train a deep network for forecasting future values of a timeseries here:

However, it does not use validation data in the plot. I am interested in using the deep network designer to get the train and validation data from its data tab. I tried data stores, especially tall data stores, but the network designer only accepts image data stores. How should I store and retrieve timeseries data? Any help is appreciated.

Until you solve this you can simply design the network and export it to the work space. And then train it using the train instruction.
