help on simulink input

i am encountering a simple problem that i want to remove the first input and i want to only connect slider as input.plzz help

You don't remove the Constant block. You "Connect" the Slider to the Constant block.

Double click the Slider, Drag the Constant block to the window, click "Connect".

set the simulation time to be "inf" and run simulation, move the slider and you will see the Constant block value changing.

If still not getting it, double click Slider, click "Help".
