Excel import gives Activex error

Hi all, I have recently added ascroll down object in my spreadsheet and since then when i run the same old code to import a range (dataset('XlSFile', filename, 'Sheet', sheetname, 'Range', rangename) I get the following error in one of my fields where i used to get values before:

 'ActiveX VT_ERROR: '

Also some of the numeric columns are converted to text. Does anybody have a clue?
