How to save images from Matlab appdesigner GUI to computer

Hi everyone,

I am using appdesigner to built GUI. I don't have any idea about saving the ouput files from GUI to folder in a computer.

Any help would be appreciated.

See uiputfile(): https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/uiputfile.html. This will let the user select the location through the GUI. Then you can use imwrite to save the image in that location.

Hi i have some issues when saving this figure using imwrite.

This is the figure i would like to save in a folder.

axis(app.UIAxes);

imagesc(app.sm, 'parent', app.UIAxes);

I tried like this

[ filename, foldername] = uiputfile;

complete_name = fullfile(foldername, filename);

imwrite(app.sm, complete_name);
