Gigecam will connect to Camera, but fails to start

I have been working with a gige cam that i can preview through the videoinput function. However when i try to use the gigecam function, i can connect to the camera, execute commands and retive model and adress information, but whenever i try to take a snapshot or preview a video stream i get the following error.

Have anoyone found a solution to this problem? I really want to use the integrated commands in the camera, and i'm currently forced to switch between videoinput and gigecam, which consumes a lot of time.
