Does the new released Matlab 2021a support apple silicon natively

I received the email saying that matlab 2021a has been launched, can I ask it running natively on M1 chip or through Rosetta2?

The R2023b is released today 20th Jun with core Matlab and Simulink natively supported on Apple Silicon. Let's check and see
No, release R2023b has not yet been released. The Prerelease of release R2023b is available, but as with any Prerelease please send any questions or feedback related to a Prerelease version of MathWorks products to Technical Support directly instead of posting them to MATLAB Answers.

Through Rosetta2.
Running MATLAB and Simulink on Apple Silicon Macs
Running MATLAB and Simulink on Apple silicon Macs is supported in MATLAB R2020b Update 3 and newer. On Apple silicon Macs, MATLAB runs using the Rosetta 2 environment. A future release of MATLAB will run natively on Apple silicon.

It's January 2022. Any timeline on this?
Thanks.
Mathworks still has a policy of not publicly committing to major new features in advance. Project managers are permitted to speak about future releases no more than 10 days before the release is made fully available.
People who are eligible for Beta Testing can sometimes get a preview under non-disclosure agreement several months before that.
