How to change data in a cell array of doubles?

I have attached the variable that I am trying to change. The first column in each double is time. I would like to go through all the trials and fix the time so that it starts from 0, by doing time = time - 1

Time for the first trial (portion).

Thank you! Your solution worked. I was wondering what is num doing? I found the matlab documentation for cellfun but not for num. How does this line of code work?

An example of the cellfun documentation

A = cellfun(@(x) x(1:3),C,'UniformOutput',false)

in this case @(x) x(1:3) is an anonymous function with one input argument named x. (I would have called it chr to indicate that it's a character vector.) (IMO: the documentation could have been more comprehensible regarding the use of anonymous function.)

In my case, @(num) num-[num(1,1),0,0,0,0,0,0], is an anonymous function with one numerical input named num.

It is subtracting numerical inputs, is the (1,1) part where it is going to only act on the first column and the zeros are ignoring the other columns. How is it restarting the time from zero?

cac = cellfun( @(num) num-[num(1,1),0,0,0,0,0,0], trials, 'uni',false );
