For me the solver block was not connected to the system, once I did that I was able to complete the task.

Hi, I faced a similar error when trying to do the Simscape Onramp. The error occurs in this particular step even if the earlier steps are correct due to an absent scope block as mentioned in the instructions.

A more nuanced error can occur in the presence of a shortage while connecting the Rotational Electromechanical Convertor in Task 3. It does not produce an error earlier but results in a mismatch in the block value in Task 9 of the onramp. Attaching both the images for reference.
