Serial and Ethernet connection for xpc target

Hi everyone I am working with the PC104 system, it connects with the host PC via Ethernet cable. Now, I want to communicate with the serial port of the host PC when the xpc program is running. Is it possible to do that? If it is, how to realize that? Thank you very much

Hi Le,

I'f you'd like to send data over the serial / COM port of your target machine, you can use the RS-232 blocks from the xPC Target / Simulink Real-Time library.

If you'd like to send data over the serial / COM port of your host PC, then the Serial Port Interface blocks from the Instrument Control Toolbox, for example, are more suitable.
