How many wavelets are there per filterbank?

Hello,
Does anyone know how many wavelets there are per filterbank? For example, if the quality factor is 8, how many wavelets are there going to be per octave??
Matlab documentation is quite confusing on this topic and matlab support does not seem to know.

8. 8 Wavelets per octave. Percisely 8 per octave in the first filterbank.
