MLP Training and problems

I am working training of MLP on various datasets . I am using BERGHOUT Tarek (2021). Backpropagation for training an MLP (https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/69947-backpropagation-for-training-an-mlp), MATLAB Central File Exchange. Retrieved July 2, 2021. I use cross validation with 10 folds for my classification problem and round the outputs to match with actual class but get very poor accuracy with 10 iterations. I am trying with [2], [5 5], [5] layers as hidden layers with error 1e-1 or 1e-3. With 1e-3 it takes lot of time even for simple iris data. What to do? pl. advise.

If you are targeting to get the answer from BERGHOUT Tarek then I suggest you to mail him in person or ask a question at the fileexchange. I suspect the author may not see this question if you are expecting an asnwer from him.
