The BeagleBoard (www.beagleboard.org) is a low-cost, single-board computer designed for audio, video, and digital signal processing.
In R2012b, Simulink provides built-in support for prototyping, testing, and running models on the BeagleBoard. You can design algorithms in Simulink for audio processing and computer vision applications then see them perform with hardware.
SPECIAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Note: for R2012b, do not use the Download Submission button.
1. Open R2012b MATLAB.
2. Enter "targetinstaller" at the MATLAB command prompt.
3. When Target Installer opens, choose Internet, and follow the instructions provided.
Simulink support for the BeagleBoard includes the following driver blocks:
• Video Input and Display
• Audio Input and Output
• UDP Send and Receive
For more information on built-in hardware support, see:
For R2012a support, see:
For R2013a and beyond, see:
We have gotten many requests for GPIO support. R2013a version of the BeagleBoard support package contains built-in support for accessing GPIO pins. If you are using R2012a or R2012b, take a look at "Access GPIO pins on BeagleBoard from Simulink" submssion in Filex change.
